as a Systematic Kinesiology Practitioner as well as running her own local, home-based
Jilly uses Systematic Kinesiology, which is the only clinically reproducible form
of kinesiology, to identify imbalances within the body. It is a non-invasive and
sound methodology using muscle testing.
Muscle testing can access information from the body’s meridians and bio-energy system.
It is also used to find out the priority area of the energy system to be helped
and to evaluate the energy changes brought about by a variety of corrections.
During an appointment, testing is carried out by assessing a number of muscles'
ability to hold against light pressure. Corrections are then made as required using
bio-individual nutrition, firm reflex massage and energy techniques.
Systematic Kinesiology is best known for identifying food and environmental sensitivities/allergies:
it will also benefit digestive problems, emotional issues, the nervous system, sleep
problems, the endocrine system, pain, structural issues, nutritional imbalances,
weight management, and much more.
Jilly’s aim is not just prevention of illness, but optimum health and wellbeing.

Geoff Boldero - Podiatrist
To be added
Geoff has worked in the podiatry profession for over 15 years and during that time
has assisted many people in managing and overcoming a variety of foot problems.
Although he treats painful symptoms he is particularly interested in getting to
the core of the dysfunction that causes those symptoms in the first place.
By assessing the biomechanics of the feet, and the wider context of the body posture,
he can prescribe foot orthotics, which are specialist shoe inserts, to improve the
function of the feet and thereby the whole body frame.
Geoff is utilising technology that enables him to take corrected impressions of
the patient’s feet; this is then used as the basis to produce custom made heat-moulded
Not only does this method produce effective shoe inserts, but also because it is
moulded around the individual’s feet the fit is better and more comfortable. The
devices can be made in different styles to suit footwear and usage, e.g. running
orthotics would include more cushioning, whilst a more universal device maybe slimmer
and perhaps only of ¾ length to fit a wider range of shoes.

Ray Fielding - Physiotherapist
APPI Pilates Instructor MW1, 2 and 3
Bsc Software Development
I always wanted to be a physiotherapist. It took me a few years and a round-about route to become one but I really do think it is a wonderful job. Being able to help people diagnose and treat their conditions is a true privilege.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by how things work and how they can be “fixed”. My first career in Software Development allowed me to develop my problem solving skills and I enjoyed the challenges the field brought, however I never shook the desire to work with people. I knew it was time to retrain after my own personal experience of being a physiotherapy patient. I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament whilst playing football and the physiotherapy team that helped me rehabilitate showed such support, passion and insight that they picked me up from a personal low point and returned me to a higher playing standard than I have ever achieved previously. I wanted to be able to provide that to others.
Having a background in IT I have always loved the very latest technology and the constant evolution and search for improvement is an aspect of physiotherapy that very much appeals. Research and literature is continually being produced helping us understand and better treat all musculoskeletal conditions. Keeping up to date with the latest evidence and treatment methods is something that I feel quite passionate about. It is something that is fundamental and all modern clinicians should be proactive in. Never before have we understood more about the human body and it’s workings but there is still so very much more to learn. Being inquisitive and always seeking better ways to do things are traits I try to promote and working for Stroud Sports Clinic Ltd provides the perfect environment. The team strive to provide the very best possible service to our clients and are always open to new treatment methods and therapeutic modalities. Personally I enjoy being able to utilise the very latest evidence and I am always searching for ways to improve my practice.
I trained as a physiotherapist at Kings College London and have practiced both within the NHS and the private sector specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. Through my training and clinical experience I have developed a strong belief that an individual’s quality of life is intrinsically linked to physical and mental activity. For treatment to be its most effective there must be a relationship of trust and understanding. I try to ensure that my practice is as informative and fun as I can make it. Explaining what has happened and why the treatment methods we are using will work are key elements in the rehabilitation process. Coupling understanding with creative, fun and most of all effective treatment is my primary focus. Using a variety of modalities including Pilates, sports specific exercise and manual techniques enables us to keep treatment sessions varied and challenging to help achieve our goals.
